Shivaali Maddali is a fourth-year Neurology resident with an interest in headache medicine. She has a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Brown University and completed her medical school training at Albany Medical College. She is passionate about community outreach and is a founding member of UPMC’s NeuroCARES (Neurology Coalition for Advocacy, Resources, Education, and Support) initiative. Through this physician-led volunteer program, she has spearheaded community outreach and neurological education efforts to improve public awareness and foster greater understanding of brain health and disease prevention. She has been the resident representative for the PNS since January 2026 and is interested in advocating for trainee interests in workforce development, health policy, and professional advancement.
